Seiko built this Prospex diver by merging two of its well-known designs, continuing a tradition of innovation and evolving style. From the Shogun it borrows steeply angled lugs, sharp enough to seem carved by a Samurai sword, while the crown recalls the Samurai model, and straight contours from both shape the case. At 41.7mm in diameter and slim in profile, it is built to sit comfortably on the wrist, and fresh details include pointed hands, a redesigned bracelet and a date placed at 4.5 o'clock. The watch complies with the ISO standard recognised for professional dive watches and is powered by the in-house 4R35.
