Marking six decades since Seiko launched Japan's first diver's watch in 1965, this design draws on another landmark: the 1968 Diver, the brand's first hi-beat diver with a one-piece case and 300m water resistance. The 2025 interpretation is crafted in stainless steel finished with a super-hard coating, and its bezel carries a light, scratch-resistant ceramic diving scale. A GMT function lets the wearer follow three time zones at once, while a micro-adjustable clasp on the short-pitch bracelet appears in a Prospex watch for the first time. The in-house 6R54 automatic GMT calibre keeps to -15/+25 seconds per day and stores three days of power.
