Seiko pitches the 1968 Heritage Diver's GMT as a premium sports watch in which practicality meets durability. Its styling looks back to the 1968 original, from which the case design is carried over with mirror-polished flanks, yet the specification is entirely current: the 6R54 calibre adds a GMT function for reading a second time zone, and the depth rating now reaches 300 metres. The bezel's edge gives a sure grip when turning. Comfort comes from a new clasp with six settings spaced roughly 2.5mm apart, about 15mm of adjustment for a wrist that swells or shrinks while diving or in everyday use.
