The Seiko Astron HAB001J1 is a GPS solar chronograph with a blue grey dial and a 43.4 mm titanium case. Its solar calibre 5X63 combines dual time, world time and a perpetual calendar with GPS time adjustment under a sapphire crystal, and the watch adds a quick-change band system and 100 m water resistance. With calibre 5X63, Seiko brings dual-time capability and a chronograph together in one Astron GPS Solar movement, timing events of up to 24 hours in steps of 1/20 of a second. The case keeps Astron's characteristic faceted, sculpted shape, now with a new two-piece octagonal titanium bezel brushed on top and polished at the sides, which lowers the centre of gravity for a more comfortable fit. Symmetrically placed sub-dials sit across a dial patterned with interlocking triangles, and a quick-change system lets the bracelet be released with a button and a new strap pressed into place.
