The design takes its cue from the traditional wristwatch, adding Rado's sapphire crystal on the front for shine, readability and protection of the dial. A date window appears on the white dial. The R763 is adjusted in five positions, and its Nivachron™ balance spring is antimagnetic, helping it hold accuracy near everyday magnetic fields. At 10.3 mm thick and 74 g, the case is slim and light. A leather strap with stainless steel fittings, in XS/XL sizing, completes it. With 50 metres of water resistance it can join a shallow swim but not a dive.
