The Rado Centrix Automatic Open Heart R30012152 opens a window in its black dial onto the beating automatic calibre R734. Housed in a polished 39.5 mm stainless steel case, the movement combines an antimagnetic Nivachron™ hairspring with 80 hours of reserve power. A gradient from silver to black gives the dial depth, and rhodium-coloured hands keep it easy to read. The case back is polished stainless steel with a sapphire crystal, so the movement can be watched from both sides. The R734 is adjusted in five positions. On the bracelet, polished steel links alternate with black high-tech ceramic centre links, closing with a stainless steel three-fold clasp. A sapphire crystal also protects the dial, and with 50 metres of water resistance the watch copes with a swim in shallow water but is not meant for diving.
