Inspired by a 1962 original, the Rado Captain Cook Automatic R32105203 has a 42 mm case of high-tech ceramic and stainless steel with a blue dial. Vintage styling drawn from the first Captain Cook is combined here with current technical features. The bezel combines bronze and high-tech ceramic and carries Super-LumiNova® details, as do the hands, so both remain readable in low light. A screw-down stainless steel crown helps seal the 12.3 mm case, which is built as a diver's watch. The dial includes a date window, and the movement uses an antimagnetic Nivachron™ hairspring and is tested in five positions. The stainless steel bracelet closes with a three-fold clasp in titanium.
