Almost entirely black, this 44.25 mm Speedmaster Dark Side of the Moon combines a polished-brushed black ceramic case with a polished ceramic bezel carrying a Liquidmetal™ tachymeter. Its laser sand-blasted ceramic dial places small seconds at 9 o'clock and the 12-hour and 60-minute counter at 3 o'clock, with blackened hands and bevelled indexes holding black Super-LumiNova of green emission.
Only the red varnished central chronograph hand breaks the palette. Through the caseback, Calibre 9908 shows its black edition finish of matt-blackened main plate and bridges with black varnished engravings; this manual-winding column-wheel Co-Axial Master Chronometer is certified by METAS, resists 15,000 gauss and runs for 60 hours. The black rubber strap carries a lunar pattern underneath and a ceramic foldover clasp.
