Measuring 39.7 mm in stainless steel, the Omega Speedmaster First OMEGA in Space, reference 310.30.40.50.06.001, presents a blue dial under a sapphire crystal shaped like hesalite. Its chronograph runs on the hand-wound OMEGA 3861 calibre, and a steel bracelet completes this tribute model. Kamal Watch Co. is an authorised retailer of Omega watches.

Walter Schirra wore his Speedmaster CK 2998 on the Sigma 7 Mercury mission on 3 October 1962, making it the earliest Omega to be worn in space, and this watch revives that 2nd generation design. Omega calls the CVD-coated dial blue-grey, a tone chosen to recall some 1960s CK 2998 pieces. Vintage Super-LumiNova fills the indexes and Alpha hands, and a white varnished Baton seconds hand matches the markings. A black aluminium bezel ring with the dot over ninety, a flat-link bracelet and an engraved Seahorse caseback complete it. The 3861 is the most recent evolution of Calibre 321, the movement astronauts wore in space.
