Launched in 2005, the Master Collection brings together classic Longines watches driven by self-winding calibres, many with complications. Calibre L888.5 beats at 25,200 vibrations per hour and uses a monocrystalline silicon balance spring. The case has a transparent sapphire case back that shows the movement, and it is water resistant to 3 bar (30 m), enough for splashes and rain but not for swimming. A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with several layers of anti-reflective coating on both sides covers the dial. The strap fastens with a triple safety folding clasp with push-piece opening with fine adjustment system.
