The Longines Master Collection L2.357.5.89.7 pairs a 34 mm stainless steel case with an 18-karat rose gold cap with a white mother-of-pearl dial set with 12 diamond indexes, worn on a stainless steel bracelet with 18-karat rose gold links. Launched in 2005, the Master Collection brings together classic Longines watches driven by self-winding calibres, many with complications. Calibre L888.5 beats at 25,200 vibrations per hour. The case has a transparent sapphire case back that shows the movement, and it is water resistant to 3 bar (30 m), enough for splashes and rain but not for swimming. A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with several layers of anti-reflective coating on both sides covers the dial. The bracelet fastens with a triple safety folding clasp with push-piece opening.
