A classic and elegant three-day automatic. The SBGR261G keeps the design of Grand Seiko's earlier calibre 9S67 models in every respect, but omits the power reserve indicator and houses the calibre 9S65 instead. A box-shaped sapphire crystal, Zaratsu-polished lugs and a blued steel seconds hand give it a pure, classical look.
The calibre 9S65 runs for about 72 hours when fully wound and combines Grand Seiko's latest hairspring technology with an escapement made using MEMS technology, for high accuracy and stability on the wrist. The 39.5 mm stainless steel case has a see-through caseback and comes on a brown crocodile leather strap.
