Since its debut in 1983, G-SHOCK has continuously evolved through collaborations with diverse cultures. We are proud to present a new collaboration with artist and designer, Joshua Vides. Joshua Vides’ signature monochrome, comic-style graphics are applied across the watch, from the dial to the bezel and band. The black-based DW-6900 features white graphics and a matte finish for a sharp, understated look. It highlights Joshua’s hand-drawn dial artwork, and when the backlight is activated, his trademark “Cone” motif appears. It is the special edition model presented in custom packaging. About Joshua Vides Joshua Vides is an internationally recognized contemporary artist and designer celebrated for his signature black-and-white, hand-drawn aesthetic. Drawing on influences from comics, street art, and industrial design, he transforms everyday objects, vehicles, and spaces into striking, two-dimensional graphic environments. His multidisciplinary practice includes murals, installations, sculptures, and brand collaborations worldwide.
The stopwatch measures in 1/100-second steps for the first hour, then in one-second steps up to 24 hours. The countdown timer runs for up to 24 hours and a high-brightness Super Illuminator LED lights the display.
