The Superocean takes its look from Breitling's 1960s Slow Motion, a dive watch stripped down to what divers needed: clean lines, large luminous indexes, squared-off hands and a high-contrast dial ring. The modern version adds a scratch-proof ceramic inlay to the bezel and brighter dial colours, with Super-LumiNova® on the broad hands and indexes for reading underwater. It is built to resist shocks, sand and salt water, and its folding clasp can be fine-tuned by up to 15 mm so the watch fits over a wetsuit.
