Launched in 1953, the Fifty Fathoms is widely regarded as the first modern divers' watch, built for the French Navy's combat swimmers. This Fifty Fathoms Automatique is built in titanium: a 42.3 mm case that is light on the wrist yet water-resistant to 300 metres, with a unidirectional rotating bezel for timing dives.
The sunburst blue dial and blue sail-canvas strap give it a fresh, maritime character. Inside is Blancpain's in-house calibre 1315, with three barrels delivering a 120-hour power reserve and a silicon balance spring, visible through the sapphire caseback.
