Compared with the earlier Calibre 1869, the 3869 shows greater lunar detail, along with light grey wheels and a balance wheel coated in dark grey gold. The chronograph seconds hand is varnished yellow, the bezel's laser-engraved tachymeter is filled with white enamel, and a Saturn V rocket in grade 5 titanium serves as the small seconds hand.
