ABOUT THE LONGINES CONQUEST CLASSIC COLLECTION HISTORY Longines takes pride in partnering with some of the most prestigious sports events in the world. Keeping that in mind, the company launched an edition under the Watchmaking Tradition Collection, called the Conquest Classic Range. This collection has often been referred to as a timeless range for the world of sports. Longines launched this collection to pay tribute to all its chronographs manufactured since that very first time in 1878 when it started creating devices with the stopwatch functionality. DESIGN Meant for sportsmen and women, the collection can cater to a wide range of watch aficionados, who have an appreciation for an urbane look coupled with athleticism. The watches feature a circular case. The bracelets are not limited to just stainless steel but include materials like brown and shiny black alligator straps and 18K Pink gold. FEATURESThe movements used range from self-winding mechanical column wheel chronograph to self-winding mechanical chronograph moon phase. A sapphire crystal see-through back is a common feature across every watch from this range. The chronograph function is also a consistent utility across all the timepieces in this range. Select watches include the moonphase mechanism to display the lunar stages. The instruments are water-resistant up to 50 metres and can easily withstand water splashes.
